Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the US, is an actor. In 1983, following her first film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames '83 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a member of the group. Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in the United States and is an actor as well as an author. Her career in film began in the the early 1980s, when she appeared as a character actress for the crime-drama film, Bad Boys. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other famous actors, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success with her debut film, she was later seen in the 1985 comedy drama The Breakfast Club. The movie was directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest films made by high school students of all time. Although the film's budget was just $1 million, it earned more than $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut was made with CBS Schoolbreak. It was a show specifically for teens that began airing from April 1980. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring the superhero X-Men in which she plays an appearance. Her incredible performances have earned numerous accolades including an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
