Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy de Domme. Her parents, who are a dental doctor and teacher in a school helped and encouraged her early love for drama as well as theatre. The initial goal of her to become a master monkey was eclipsed by her wish to study theater and drama. There was an immediate rise in her career to become a well-known young actor. Her career began in earnest in 1999 the year she first began performing professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou participated in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou attended church and the Institut Catholique de Paris during her childhood, but she has since gotten rid of her childhood. Apart from her acting work, she also pursued modelling. The model was for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and is known as "The Chanel Muse". In addition to her acting profession she also has an interest in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection images at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Her photographs are largely about fame and celebrity. Also, they include self-portraits in addition. Audrey Tautou's first big performance, in the role of Amelie Poulain's main actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie, landed her fame to the world. Amelie won international acclai box office success and received acclaim at awards ceremonies across the globe. The film is still the top-grossing French language film in the US. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in many films including British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code alongside Tom Hanks.
